Sometimes the best way to learn is simply to work with someone, one to one. Whether you're brand new to your camera or you've been shooting for years and want focused feedback, I offer private sessions — in person around Lincoln, Nebraska, or virtually — built around your goals and your pace. Below are a few ways we can work together, but if you have something else in mind, just reach out.
Camera Basics, One on One
New camera, new to photography, or just never got past Auto? In this 90-minute session, we'll go through your specific camera together, demystify the dials and menus, and get you shooting with confidence. Available in person or virtually.

Three-Session Starter Package
A condensed path from "I don't know what half these buttons do" to "I made a photo I'm proud of." Over three sessions we'll cover camera basics, seeing and composition, and a simple introduction to editing — at your own pace, in person or virtually.

Portfolio Review
Bring 15–20 of your images and we'll go through them together — what's working, what's not, and how to shape them into something more cohesive. Great for photographers who've been shooting a while and want an outside eye. Virtual sessions work especially well for this.

Photo Walk & Critique
We'll head out together to one of Lincoln's neighborhoods or parks, shoot side by side, then sit down over coffee to look at what we made. Part lesson, part conversation — a relaxed way to sharpen your eye while exploring the city.

Lightroom, One on One
A focused virtual session on your editing workflow — bring your own images and we'll work through them together, screen to screen, so you leave with techniques you can use on everything else you shoot.
