Nebraska State Fair, 2025

The fair's character drew me more than its rides and attraction because I was fascinated by its details and the faces of the people walking about. The combination of cowboy hats, American flags, and weathered expressions made these moments seem both ordinary and profound. The lens revealed to me parts of the heartland which were both unknown to me yet deeply recognizable.
